The North East London Foundation Trust (NELFT) is seeking a Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist for its Redbridge Mental Health and Wellness Team (MHWT) in Wanstead. This role involves delivering comprehensive assessments and interventions for clients facing mental health challenges, focusing on their functional abilities and support needs. The post holder will participate in a multidisciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Social Workers, Psychiatrists, and Peer Support Workers, and will be tasked with implementing community care plans, facilitating group programs, and collaborating with employment support workers to assist clients in achieving their employment goals.

The position offers a full-time schedule, primarily from Monday to Friday, and includes a balanced caseload of OT-specific work and care coordination duties. The successful candidate will benefit from strong professional support within a collaborative team environment, opportunities for leadership development, and involvement in service improvement initiatives. Applicants will be expected to promote a recovery-focused culture, ensure regular review of care plans, and engage with service users and their families in the planning process. A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
