NHS England is seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Deputy Training Programme Director for Haematology (East) in Hull, available through a secondment arrangement at 0.5 PA per week on the NHS Consultant Pay Scale. The successful candidate will support the Training Programme Director and Head of School in overseeing the educational and training functions crucial to the NHS England mandate. Key responsibilities include enhancing learner supervision and assessment, engaging faculty, and promoting effective educational outcomes, with a focus on workforce transformation and innovative curriculum delivery.

The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including postgraduate deans, training programme directors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure high standards of education and training aligned with national policies. The Deputy Training Programme Director will also manage postgraduate programme operations, address trainee concerns, and develop educational programs that fulfill curriculum competencies, all while adhering to budgetary guidelines and compliance with procurement requirements.
