We are interested in hearing from a caring and enthusiastic individual who wants to work in our friendly practice to enhance our nursing team in delivering outstanding care. The role will be suitable for a motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to move into General Practice or for an experienced HCA who would like to develop their skills with us.

We work in a dynamic environment where the quality of patient care matters. At Drs Reddy & Nunn we strive to be outstanding in every aspect of Primary Care delivery.

You will deliver and assist the nursing team in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education.

Maintaining a professional attitude towards patients and always display an understanding and a caring attitude.

Duties including but not limited to:

Phlebotomy

ECG recording

Blood pressure monitoring

Flu, Pneumococcal vaccinations and B12 injections under a Patient Specific Direction

Urinalysis

Diabetic foot checks and yearly interim reviews

Chaperoning

Preparation and processing of laboratory samples i.e. MSU

Undertaking clinical tasks including venepuncture, wound care, administering injections and carrying out ECGs

Performing and recording clinical observations such as blood pressure and pulse

Health promotion

Able to work well within a team and understand and compliment the team dynamics

Ensuring the privacy, dignity and safety of individuals are maintained at all times

Recognising issues relating to safeguarding vulnerable children and adults
