Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for the position of Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist (Band 8b) within their Neurodevelopmental Team in Hull and the East Riding. This role is aimed at individuals with experience working with neurodiverse children, particularly those with trauma histories. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of professionals and will play a key role in the ongoing transformation of the service, which emphasises a collaborative, multi-agency approach to support children with neurodiversity and their families.

The position involves conducting specialist assessments for neurodevelopmental conditions, providing supervision to team members, and offering consultations to other professionals and agencies. Candidates will have opportunities to influence service development with input from young people and their families, as well as to contribute to the evolution of assessment pathways. There are options for both full and part-time work, and the role includes responsibilities such as supervising trainee clinical psychologists and participating in ongoing professional development initiatives.
