University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Phlebotomists for their new blood testing service set to open in spring 2025 at the Royal South Hants Hospital. The successful candidates will undergo training at the main outpatient service before taking on responsibilities at the new community diagnostic hub. Applicants should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a busy multi-disciplinary team, particularly with patients who may have difficulties with blood draws. Initially, the service will operate Monday to Friday, with plans to expand to a full seven-day service, requiring staff to work rotational shifts, including weekends.
