Mountbatten Isle of Wight is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join their Rehabilitation team for a year, focusing on palliative rehabilitation. The role involves providing specialized Occupational Therapy services to patients with life-limiting conditions, promoting empowerment and enablement through collaborative working. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in Occupational Therapy or extensive experience as a Rehabilitation Assistant, along with strong clinical, administrative, and teamwork skills.

The Occupational Therapist will conduct holistic assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient quality of life. Key responsibilities include advocating for palliative rehabilitation, maintaining effective communication with patients and colleagues, and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Rehabilitation Team. The position requires flexibility, creative problem-solving, and resilience, with a contracted work pattern of 22.5 hours over three days between Monday and Friday, open to negotiation for the right candidate.
