Job Title: Radiology Department Assistant
Location: Canterbury, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust

Overview:
The Radiology Department Assistant role with NHS Professionals Limited offers flexible bank shifts and the chance to work in various wards. This position focuses on providing compassionate patient care and support under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor patients' vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight).
Assist in delivering patient care and daily living activities.
Prepare and clean examination areas and equipment.
Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in care decisions.

Pay Rates:

Day: £11.67/hour
Saturday/Nights: £15.75/hour
Sunday/Bank Holidays: £19.72/hour

Contract: Ongoing full-time with 12-hour shifts available 7 days a week (no nights).

Qualifications Required:

At least 6 months of acute healthcare experience or ongoing nursing studies with a minimum of 12 weeks clinical placements.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
What you'll need:
Minimum of 6 months Acute HCSW UK (Private, NHS or Armed Forces) hospital/hospice experience within the last 2 years
OR
Currently studying General/Adult Nursing (Student Nurse) and completed a minimum of 12 weeks clinical placements.*
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
