                                                     The Laurels Surgery is looking for an experienced practice nurse, on a part time basis for 30 hours per week, who is competent and confident in carrying out annual reviews for patients with long term conditions, including asthma, COPD and particularly diabetes.      Managing and treating long-term conditions, in line with national or local policies and practice needs.   Supporting and managing the health needs of women presenting for sexual health, contraception, and cervical cytology consultations.   Implementing, and participating in, vaccination and immunisation programmes for both adults/children.   Providing wound care including removal of stitches or staples, dressings and compression-dressings.   Running asthma, COPD, diabetes clinics and reviews.
