The post holder is primarily responsible for generation of Chemotherapy and supportive medication orders to maintain sufficient supply and accurate dispensing of prescribed items.

Ability to work in a busy environment, prioritise work and meet deadlines
The post will be based at the pharmacy department Darent Valley Hospital, and we are looking for a person, whom is willing to seek and find new solutions to problems and ability to plan and prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines.
Candidates must be enthusiastic, innovative, and able to communicate ideas clearly and effectively. You must possess good IT skills.
Plan and prioritise Invoicing workload within the Purchasing department. Ensure that Invoices are processed accurately and efficiently to meet Trust's needs.
Work closely with the lead assistant to ensure that the pharmacy assistants and apprentices training needs met and that the relevant competencies are completed.
Ensure errors and near miss situations are report via the error reporting system and the relevant manager
Assist in the supply of medication for patients both on our wards and from our outpatient clinics.
The post holder will be required to a Late night, weekends and Bank Holidays. The post holder will be responsible for prioritising their own workload; they will be required to work accurately whilst under pressure.
