The role of Receptionist at Chesterton Unit within the Secure Care Division of Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust in Winwick is a full-time permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive reception and administrative services to support the smooth operation of the 16-bedded Low Secure inpatient unit, which caters to patients detained under the Mental Health Act. Key duties include managing patient and visitor inquiries, answering telephone calls, sorting and distributing mail, maintaining accurate filing systems, and ensuring confidentiality in all communications.

Candidates should possess strong communication and organisational skills, be customer-focused, and have an excellent telephone manner. While previous experience is desirable, the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks is essential. The role may require flexibility to work across different sites and cover for staff absences, with shifts assigned according to service needs.
