The Communications and Engagement Officer for NHS England will play a key role in supporting the NHS Finance portfolio, particularly focusing on Medicines Value and Access (MVA), which is a significant expenditure area for the NHS. The officer will be responsible for developing and disseminating high-quality communication materials, building relationships internally and externally, and ensuring that the public and stakeholders are informed about the efficiency and value of NHS spending. This position involves collaborating closely with senior leaders, finance directors, and various stakeholders in health and social care, as well as leveraging knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry to enhance engagement and partnerships within the life sciences sector.

The successful candidate will work under the Head of Communications to effectively convey complex financial concepts, such as value and productivity, and support engagement initiatives with patients, advocacy groups, and industry partners. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to produce impactful materials, and a proactive approach to fostering transparency and accountability in NHS financial practices.
