The Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a proactive and dynamic Lead Theatre Equipment, Prosthetics and Instrument Coordinator for a permanent, full-time position in Ashton Under Lyne. In this newly created role, the coordinator will enhance safe practices within the operating theatres by managing prosthetics and instrument housekeeping, including organizing loan kits, handling purchase orders, and ensuring thorough checks and returns of equipment.

The role involves maintaining accurate inventory and overseeing equipment servicing, collaborating with Theatre Leads and the procurement team. Additionally, the coordinator will address discrepancies, report and manage damaged instruments, and support training for Theatre Assistants. Overall, this position is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of theatre services.
