The Senior Mental Health Practitioner position at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust involves joining a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, client-centered care to children and young people facing mental health challenges, aligned with the THRIVE Framework. The successful candidate will assess, treat, and support clients, while also offering consultation and supervision to colleagues and external partners. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, care planning, and delivering therapeutic interventions, with a strong emphasis on respecting the diverse backgrounds of service users. The role also requires maintaining high standards of clinical practice, actively participating in multi-agency collaboration, and contributing to the training and development of junior staff and trainees.

Additional duties encompass engaging in research and service evaluation, ensuring the continuous development of best practices, and maintaining professional registration and accreditation.
