The NHS is changing. More emphasis on community-based care means there's never been a better time to join us.
We believe in treating the whole person, not just the condition.
We are recruiting for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our Community Rehabilitation Team on a part time, permanent basis.
The Community Rehabilitation Teams within East Kent are multi-disciplinary teams that include Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Specialist Nurses and Therapy Assistants. We work within patients' homes, rehabilitation groups, Community Hospitals and other care settings, to ensure effective discharge planning and a seamless rehabilitation pathway.
We provide short-term rehabilitation to enable patients, where possible, to remain in the community rather than be admitted to hospital or long-term care, and to live as independently as possible.
As a Band 6 Physiotherapist you will work closely with the people who use our services, families, friends and carers and play an important contribution in how people experience our services.
We believe that the best health care is delivered by multi-disciplinary teams working well together and in partnership with other teams and services to provide seamless care. You will work as part of a team and contribute to its success by being a role model, supervising more junior members of the team (Qualified and unqualified) and students to ensure they are working to the professional standards required and provide leadership within the team.
Band 6 Physiotherapists are expected to be kind and responsive but professional and informative and contribute to the quality of the services provided within the community team across the health economy
