The Practice Plus Group is seeking a full-time Healthcare Assistant to join their Primary Care team at HMP Stocken, a category C prison in Oakham. The role involves supporting registered nurses in implementing patient care plans while promoting safe patient practices. Working hours are structured around a seven-day service, with shifts from Monday to Friday (07:30-17:30) and weekends/bank holidays (08:30-17:30). The position offers an annual salary of up to £28,690, depending on experience.

As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will

Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care
Be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
