Fantastic opportunity to become a Maternity Support Worker(MSW) within Boston Community Midwifery Team. This role is part time 22.5 hours per week.

The maternity support worker (MSW) will support a registered midwife or medical practitioner in the delivery of care to women using the maternity services. The MSW will be able to carry out a defined range of duties involving direct care in support of the midwife. The MSW under guidance will help and support the Public Health agenda by giving smoking, dietary and breastfeeding advice.
The ideal candidate should be motivated and committed to join a supportive, forward thinking team. Ideally they should already be working as a Band 2 Health Care Support Worker or something similar, with experience within the Maternity, Neonate or P aediatric services. Training and assessment will be provided to enable the candidate to provide the clinical duties as outlined in the job description. They will be supported during an induction period .
Please note you will be asked to provide your qualification certificate for NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). You will also be required to have a full driving licence and use of own car.
Role includes weekend working, usually one weekend per month.
