Band 5: £29,970 to £36,483 a year per annum  PERMANENT 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to to join the restructured Capacity & Flow team within the Surgery Anaesthetics Critical Care and Cancer Division as a Capacity & Flow Co-ordinator.

We are looking to appoint knowledgeable, enthusiastic and determined individuals who are highly motivated to facilitate a smooth, co-ordinated journey for our patients from admission to discharge. The successful candidate/s will support in service improvement initiatives in order to achieve divisional and trust objectives.

The role of the Capacity & Flow Co-ordinator is crucial to ensure the safe, effective and timely management of patients throughout their inpatient stay right through to the discharge process. The successful candidate will have an understanding of capacity processes to enable accurate bed planning for patients before and after theatre. They will collaborate with ward teams to undertake bed planning for TCI patients on the day before surgery, allowing for anticipated discharges and also liaise withtheatres to ensure patients have beds allocated in a timely manner to support optimum theatre utilisation.
