There are currently lots of exciting developments happening within Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust's Services for Children and Young People (LPFT CYP Services) who have mental health concerns and live in Lincolnshire.
One of these is the ongoing development of our Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) and following further expansion we are looking to recruit an additional CBT Therapist and Supervisor to join the team.
Our MHSTs in Lincolnshire operate closely alongside our existing Child and Young People's Mental Health Services, including our core CAMHS teams, Healthy Minds Lincolnshire and our emotional wellbeing service. You will receive support from your Line Manager within the MHST, but will also be joining an established team of CBT Therapists all of whom have experience of supporting CBT trainees, Well Being Practitioners and EMHPs.
The role will allow you to provide CBT supervision to low intensity practitioners (e.g., Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs)), Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, and other professionals, as well as carrying a small clinical caseload offering CBT to children and young people within the service.
The post holder will provide assessment and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for a range of presenting difficulties for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. The role will be of both a clinical and supervisory nature and along with the clinical caseload the work will include offering training and supervision to both low intensity practitioners and Cognitive Behavioural Therapists.
We have various teams across the MHST, all in various stages of training. This role will therefore give you a great opportuity to work with both qualified staff and trainees as the successful applicant would be supporting staff over several teams. The majority of this support will be provided virtually, so this post offers a great deal of flexibility with hybrid working.
You will need to be enthusiastic and very well organised and able to travel across Lincolnshire as needed to provide services. You will be expected to work on your own initiative as well as work well within a multi-disciplinary setting. You will need to be an excellent communicator and team player as this role will involve facilitating the CBT training offer to all CYP Services, and contribute to and develop relevant continuing professional development for the CBT staff.
