Kingstanding Circle Surgery in Birmingham is seeking a Salaried GP to join their busy practice, which currently serves a growing list of 6,500 patients. The role requires an autonomous practitioner to deliver high-quality medical services, conduct patient consultations, manage on-call duties, and ensure compliance with QOF and GMS contract requirements. The position also involves developing care plans, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate patient records, while contributing to practice management and collaboration within a supportive and established team.

The recruitment is driven by an increasing patient list and the retirement of a current GP. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dedicated to providing excellent clinical care, and uphold GMC standards. For those interested, a full job description is available upon request.

Salaried GP required for very busy surgery with a list size of 6500 patients and still growing. Very pro active friendly team, always on hand to support. Long standing members of staff here at the surgery. Recruitment due to increase in list size and a current GP retiring from General Practice.

Seeing patients during consultations.

On Call duties

Ensuring QOF and other requirements are completed during patient consultations

to work autonomously

Providing up to date care plans for patients

Prescribing in line with guidance

Accurate record keeping

Audits / projects as required

About us
To work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract. Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
