The University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Ophthalmology Imaging Technician to join the Lymington Eye Outpatients team. This role involves conducting specialized clinical diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining high standards of accuracy. Responsibilities include performing visual acuity assessments, measuring intra-ocular pressure, instilling eye drops, assisting clinicians with laser treatments, and managing imaging workloads. The technician will operate various imaging equipment, conduct testing using tools like the Humphrey visual field analyser, and complete retinal imaging with a Fundus camera, all while supporting both the Lymington site and the main ophthalmology clinic at Southampton General Hospital.

The successful candidate will enjoy comprehensive training and development opportunities within a supportive environment, emphasizing career progression. Key tasks also include monitoring equipment performance, managing workflow, optimizing image acquisition, and maintaining accurate records and statistics.
