The North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Digital Support Engineer to join their Digital Support team at the Broughton HQ site in Preston. The role involves providing assistance in the maintenance and development of the ICT Service Desk, acting as an Incident Manager when required, overseeing the knowledge database management, and supporting Digital Support Engineers and Customer Service colleagues. The successful candidate will handle hardware life cycle management, ensuring efficient desktop provision, and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organisation. Regular travel to NWAS sites for incident resolution and meetings will be necessary, along with the responsibility of producing and reviewing ICT procedures to maintain a comprehensive knowledgebase.

Key qualifications for this position include experience in a fast-paced Service Desk environment, strong organisational abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the capacity to work independently and manage tight deadlines. The role requires a flexible approach to work and the ability to share technical knowledge with the team to enhance resilience within the ICT Service Desk.
