The role of "OCC/CICU" at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust involves joining a supportive team within the 22-bed unit at John Radcliffe Hospital, specializing in critical care. The position is for two Band 7 nurses on an 18-month secondment to cover maternity leave and other absences. Candidates should be experienced in critical care nursing and operational management.

Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high standards of clinical care to critically ill patients.
- Leading a nursing team and managing daily operations and staffing.
- Undertaking quality improvement projects related to either Renal services or HCID/Major Incidents.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and managing strategic planning with the Matron.
- Engaging in research, education, and mentorship to support staff development.
- Contributing to clinical governance by ensuring adherence to policies and ongoing improvement of care standards.
