Band 6: £37,338 to £44,962 a year Per Annum/Pro Rata  PERMANENT

Bodmin Minor Injuries Unit has a opportunity to work in a practitioner-led Minor Injuries Unit (MIU). The MIU operates 8am-10pm.

This is a Band 6 post and we are interested in interviewing both Practitioners who able to work in an advanced practice role which includes minor illness and paediatrics at Band 6 level and also Aspiring Practitioners with an urgent care background who would like to develop further
and
are already undertaking and have almost completed a relevant minor injuries and illness course .

You must be responsive to change and flexible in your approach as we are in an exciting period of development for the MIU service. A sound knowledge of professional issues will be required.

It is an expectation of the role that the post is offered on the basis of working 7.5 hour shifts including regular rotation to cover evenings and weekends. We are a small team and flexibility is vital to ensure service provision.

o To deliver, without supervision, effective assessment and treatment of patients utilising evidence based approach. Responsible for the care needs, the management of treatment and evaluation of clinical interventions, reflecting the needs of patients attending this unit.o Responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care in unit.
