Are you a Registered Adult Nurse or Midwife who is passionate about reproductive healthcare?
We are looking for a Nurse or Midwife Practitioner to join the clinical team within our Sandwell Unit. You will work 15 hours per week, every Tuesday and Wednesday. More details can be found in the further information section below.
About the role:
As a Nurse or Midwife Practitioner you will provide high quality clinical care to our clients across a range of BPAS reproductive healthcare services including termination of pregnancy, STI testing & treatment, contraception & vasectomy. You'll be involved in all stages of the client pathway from consultation through to treatment & will work in all areas of the unit including theatre & recovery. This role will involve providing treatment & clinical information to clients both in person & over the phone.
About You
You will be a Registered Adult Nurse Level 1 or Midwife (practising) with active NMC registration and PIN. You'll have clinical practice experience of at least 12 months & have a keen interest in sexual health & reproductive healthcare. Clinical knowledge & experience of safeguarding and Fraser/Gillick competencies are essential for this role.
You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills and you will be adept at caring for clients in a compassionate & empathetic way.

Further Information
Salary: £36,938 - £44,625 per annum - depending on skills and experience (Pro rata for part time hours)
Hours: 15 per week
Shift Pattern:
Tuesday & Wednesday | 08:00 to 16:00
