The Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their BEEU Core CAMHS team in Shrewsbury during a maternity leave vacancy. This role primarily involves assessing and providing interventions for children and young people with complex emotional wellbeing and mental health issues, following NICE guidelines. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses, and will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, developing care plans, and conducting risk assessments.

The position offers opportunities for creativity and innovation in developing evidence-based interventions, aligned with local transformation initiatives such as Future in Mind and the THRIVE framework. Applicants, including Band 5 Occupational Therapists looking for progression, will be expected to contribute to group programs and engage in the supervision and support of students and colleagues within the team.
