The Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist in the CAMHS Eating Disorders Service at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is responsible for coordinating clinical activities and managing a patient caseload effectively. The role emphasises clinical expertise and leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while also supervising and developing junior staff and students. The specialist will manage outpatient resources, including budgets and human resources, contribute to policy development and evidence-based practice, and maintain a safe clinical environment.

Additionally, the role involves collaboration with nursing and medical leads to ensure smooth service operations and adherence to a family-centered treatment philosophy. The Clinical Nurse Specialist will also be involved in triaging referrals and upholding safeguarding policies, serving as a resource for other departments and ensuring the implementation of the established therapeutic approaches.
