The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join its physiotherapy outpatient department in Birmingham. The role involves supporting qualified physiotherapists in rehabilitating patients post-orthopaedic surgery and those with musculoskeletal conditions, with a focus on sports rehabilitation. Candidates should have relevant experience and qualifications, as well as strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities include managing a caseload, conducting routine assessments, formulating and implementing treatment plans, and leading rehabilitation classes. The position requires the ability to work independently and effectively manage time. Flexible working hours are necessary, as services may extend to weekends. Training and support will be provided, and a comprehensive in-service training program is available for staff.
