The Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Clinical or Senior Clinical Perfusionist to join their Perfusion Department in Basildon. The role offers an exciting opportunity to advance the department's practices, particularly with the introduction of new Quantum Heart Lung Machines and associated informatics. Candidates must possess substantial post-qualification experience, with a minimum of five years for the Senior (8b) position and two years for the Clinical (8a) role, along with UK registration. The successful applicant will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, responsible for maintaining a 24-hour perfusion service and actively contributing to service development and team training.

The role requires effective collaboration with the Head of Clinical Perfusion to ensure that resources are adequately managed to meet clinical and professional targets. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a commitment to career progression. They will also be expected to participate in an on-call service, contributing to a supportive and dynamic work environment that fosters innovation and evidence-based practices in patient care.
