An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Acute team at the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. We are looking for a part-time Band 4 Therapy Practitioner to join our established, friendly and experienced team.
The role will require a highly motivated enthusiastic individual who has the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be able to show initiative, have good communication and organisational skills, being able to prioritise a caseload in a busy acute setting.
If you have had experience in a Therapy Assistant role, preferably in an Acute setting, and are looking to further develop your career, we would love to hear from you.
The role will be based in the Acute adult inpatient team and rotate through areas including the General Medicine, Cardiac, Surgicaland Elderly Care. You will provide acute rehabilitation to maximise independence and facilitate discharge from the hospital setting. This will involve working closely with Therapy colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Successful candidates are expected to hold a valid UK manual car drivers full licence or be able to arrange alternative means to complete community visits as required, unless medically exempt.
Your life outside HHFT is important and the Trust is happy to consider applications with flexible working patterns that cater to individual requirements; this can be discussed at interview . We cover a 7 day service so regular weekend working will be required.
