Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking passionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide personalized care to a male service user in his 20s living in the Chester area. The ideal candidate should either have experience in complex care or a willingness to learn. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the service user with daily activities, such as visiting local attractions and attending a day center. The position offers competitive pay rates ranging from £14.75 to £20.00 per hour, confirmed rotas, and comprehensive clinical training.

In this role, you will work independently in the service user’s home, delivering personal, social, and domestic support according to their care plan. Key responsibilities include medication administration, personal care, and assisting with mobility. Flexibility to work full-time days and sleep-in shifts is necessary. By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, youll be a valued member of a compassionate team. Our service user is a male in his 20s who resides in the Chester area. He is looking for a bubbly Healthcare Assistant, who lives in the local area, to join his passionate team to provide essential day-to-day care. As a member of his dedicated team, you will help him access various activities including exploring local attractions and attending day centre twice a week. He enjoys being around people and listening to conversations. Our service user has a sensory room at home, which has equipment such as a bubble machine and a projector. He likes listening to musicals on the TV.

Pay Rates:

£14.75 - £20.00 per hour

Approx. £177 - £240 (per 12-hour day shift)

Approx. £141 - £160 (per 12-hour sleep in shift)

Shifts Available:

Full Time

Days: 8am 8pm

Sleep ins: 8pm 8am

Candidate must be able to work both days and sleep ins

Essential Experience:

3 months previous care experience

Medication administration

Personal care

Moving and handling

The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
