The East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Therapeutic Radiographer for the position of Treatment Specialist Radiographer at the Colchester Hospital radiotherapy department. The role involves delivering high-quality treatment using advanced equipment, including Varian linear accelerators, CT scanners, and treatment planning systems, while ensuring top-notch patient care. The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team to manage workload, minimize waiting times, and ensure efficient team operations. Additionally, they will mentor undergraduate students, participate in quality initiatives, and engage in risk assessment and compliance with safety regulations.

Key responsibilities include supervising clinical work in radiotherapy, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and participating in ongoing training and development of junior radiographers. Candidates must be flexible regarding working hours and may be required to work across different sites within the trust.
