The role of Quality, Governance & Compliance Officer at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust involves supporting the governance team in enhancing patient safety and quality within the Surgery, Critical Care, and Diagnostics Care Group. The officer will collaborate with the Care Group Quality Governance & Compliance Lead to implement the national Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), facilitate patient safety incident investigations, manage statutory duties, and oversee external provider concerns. Additional responsibilities include training staff, monitoring risk action plans, conducting data analysis for quality improvements, and maintaining effective communication with complaints and central governance teams.
