The role of Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Urgent Care) at Greater Peterborough Network offers an opportunity to work within various hospital-at-home services, including a virtual ward and urgent care wrap-around services. The post holder will assess undifferentiated patients and practice autonomously, utilizing skills in history taking, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. They will manage their own patient caseload, provide advanced assessment and care, and supervise junior staff while actively contributing to the development and improvement of patient care systems, policies, and clinical pathways.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the role includes leadership and management duties, such as supporting service delivery KPIs, facilitating communication within a multidisciplinary team, and championing advanced practice provision. The post holder will also engage in education and training, research, resource management, and risk management to ensure high standards of patient care and safety. This position requires a highly experienced clinician with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to various clinical environments while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
