The role of an Occupational Therapist with Hertfordshire County Council in Hemel Hempstead involves managing your own caseload and collaborating with individuals in the community to conduct holistic assessments. The aim is to identify person-centered outcomes while promoting independence and participation through a strengths-based approach. The position emphasises enabling individuals and their families to receive timely, appropriate support and advice, aligning with the core values of occupational therapy and the principles of the Connected Lives practice.
As an Adult Care Services occupational therapist, you will hold your own caseload and work in partnership with people living in the community across Hertfordshire. You will undertake a holistic assessment of need to identify person-centred outcomes.
We work in an enabling way with people and their families and carers, to promote independence and participation, through meaningful occupation and a strengths-based approach. Across all our services we aim to ensure that people are provided with the right support and advice, and at the right time.
