The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals for the role of Administration/Clinical Support Worker in their hospital's transport department. This position involves assisting in the provision of high-quality service to patients and staff, managing non-emergency transport bookings, and providing healthcare assistance to patients in the transport waiting area under supervision. The role requires strong customer service, communication, and keyboard skills, as well as the ability to work flexibly in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient transport, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, helping to alleviate patient distress, and ensuring proper handling of medical data across various systems. Additionally, the post holder will assist patients with mobility needs, perform basic observational tasks, and contribute to the training of new staff. The position requires a commitment to health and safety policies and a flexible schedule of 30 hours per week, typically within Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts.
