The Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Team Leader for the Engagement, Activity & Physical Health (EAP) team at Greyfriars Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The successful candidate will oversee a multi-disciplinary team of up to five full-time equivalents, responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating therapeutic activities for adults with serious mental illnesses. This role requires strong clinical leadership, including regular supervision, rotas, and support for patient referrals, while engaging in direct clinical activities approximately 60% of the time.

The Team Leader will be tasked with developing clinical practices for physiotherapy and health coordinators, ensuring effective interventions throughout the week, including weekends. A key aspect of the position includes applying the EAP framework in assessments and treatment planning, monitoring outcomes, and participating in clinical supervision. Flexibility in working hours is essential given the 24/7 service commitment. Candidates should possess relevant qualifications and experience as outlined in the job specification.
