The Public Health Manager for Health Equity Partnerships at the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) in Birmingham is responsible for coordinating and delivering specialized technical expertise to combat health inequalities. This role focuses on addressing systematic and avoidable disparities in health outcomes linked to socioeconomic factors such as location, work, and age. The postholder will collaborate with various stakeholders, including community organisations and individuals with lived experiences, to develop equitable partnerships and implement health equity strategies. Key duties include data analysis, community engagement, and effective communication to influence public health outcomes.

The position requires strong public health skills, partnership-building capabilities, and the ability to support UKHSA's emergency planning efforts. The candidate will also contribute to strategic initiatives within the Health Equity and Inclusion Health Division, ensuring clear and impactful communication of evidence and program outputs. This role offers hybrid working options, with a requirement to be present in the office for at least 60% of the contracted working hours. Candidates must also pass a security check before appointment.
