In addition to direct patient care, the nurse will be involved in clinical supervision, health promotion initiatives, and the auditing of clinical outcomes. The role requires strong organisational skills to maintain accurate patient records using EMIS software and to foster a collaborative healthcare approach within the team. Working closely with GP colleagues, the post-holder will deliver several Treatment Room clinics providing assessment; treatment; screening; health education services and advice to patients including
Wound management
Administering a vaccinations and immunisations.
Contraception, STI checks and advice and cervical screening.
As part of the clinical team, you will participate in clinical supervision; ongoing CPD; team and practice meetings as well as contributing to projects and audits.

Job Summary
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide excellent patient care; assessing patient needs and planning, delivering and evaluating care provision. They will provide a professional service performing a range of relevant treatment room activities without direct supervision and providing support to the GPs. Treatment room experience essential.
General Clinical
- To provide high quality patient care
- Participate in setting standards for care and auditing clinical outcomes.
- Promote & participate in maintaining a safe comfortable & therapeutic environment.
- Participate in developing strategies and implementing health promotion programmes for clients and carers and facilitate screening clinics.
- Take responsibility for the safe storage and administration of drugs and equipment.
- Provide information, advice and support to patients face to face and via the telephone.
