Internal Only

To provide administrative and planning support to the Breast Screening department including planning operations related to locating mobile units within West Berkshire.

Assists the Breast Screening Administrative Services Manager to ensure the operation of an efficient and effective administration service that meets the needs of the Breast Screening Service; will include monitoring performance against set targets

Responsible for maintaining paper based and electronic filing systems within the department, and for managing and maintaining departmental databases

Ensures appropriate and timely prioritisation, delegation and completion of workload duties within the administrative team

Communicates effectively with other staff groups, both internal and external to the Trust; these include clinicians and other healthcare professionals, senior Trust management, patients and their representatives, external agencies, commercial suppliers, service engineers and visitors to the department

Encourages and maintains good working relationships with other members of the multidisciplinary team, and with other departments and staff within the Trust
