The Deputy Nurse Manager for the Cancer and Haematology Outpatients Department at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and experienced nurse to join their team. This role involves supporting the operational management of the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and acting as a role model for junior staff. Responsibilities include providing clinical and managerial leadership, overseeing daily service activities, managing complex patient referrals, and contributing to the overall development of the department. The position also requires direct patient care tasks such as line care, venesection, and phlebotomy, while fostering an environment of professional development and compassionate care.

The Cancer and Haematology Outpatients department operates in a fast-paced environment, accommodating up to 300 patients daily. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with the Outpatients Sister, taking on responsibilities in their absence.
