ABORTION MULTI-DISCIPLINARY VENEPUNCTURE
Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a qualified and motivated Health Care Support Worker to join the multi-disciplinary team within the Sexual Health Department. This position involves providing care in various settings, including the Sexual Health Clinic and the Pregnancy Advisory Service, and requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The Senior Healthcare Assistant (Level 3) will have increased autonomy and will be responsible for contributing to the assessment and development of individual care plans under the supervision of registered practitioners.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in a healthcare setting, a foundational understanding of care principles, and knowledge of basic physiology and safeguarding. While skills in venepuncture are desirable, they are not essential. The role demands discretion and confidentiality, as the successful candidate will interact with sensitive health information. Flexibility is required as the role involves traveling between clinics in Neath Port Talbot and Swansea. Proficiency in Welsh is a plus, but not mandatory. The position aligns with the Health Board's core values of caring, collaboration, and continuous improvement in the provision of high-quality care.
