Practice Plus Group is seeking a Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join their integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP Thameside, a category B resettlement prison in South-East London. The role is suitable for both newly qualified and experienced psychologists with expertise in adult mental health, neurodiversity, and complex trauma. Familiarity with trauma-informed practice and certification in at least one trauma-specific intervention is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical support and training to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT).
  • Conduct psychological assessments and support multi-disciplinary formulations.
  • Deliver psychological interventions, including oversight of 1:1 and group sessions within the Trauma Informed 'Making Sense' Programme.
  • Teach and train healthcare and prison staff as needed.
  • Contribute to audit, service evaluation, and research activities.

  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
