Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Higher-Level Pharmacy Technician to join the inpatient dispensary team in Aylesbury. This role offers an opportunity to enhance leadership and management skills while contributing to a progressive pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the dispensary workload, including labeling and dispensing medications for inpatients, outpatients, and controlled drugs.
  • Ensure the training and support of staff to maintain a safe service.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to optimize service delivery and patient care.
  • Dispense medications using pharmacy computer systems and robotic technology.
  • Oversee the organization and planning of medicine supply to patients and wards.
  • Develop staff rotas and allocate daily tasks effectively.
  • Conduct final checks of dispensed items and manage stock using JAC reports.
