Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Pharmacist with a focus on Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) and Sleep services to join their pharmacy team at the Cambridge Bio Medical Campus. This six-month secondment role requires a pharmacist with a hospital background, preferably in thoracic medicine, to support the development of procedures and formulary applications. Responsibilities include collaborating with other specialists to provide pharmaceutical care for inpatients, screening homecare prescriptions, and ensuring safe prescribing practices.

The successful candidate will lead in delivering pharmaceutical care for RSSC and ILD patients, take accurate drug histories, maintain thorough documentation, and offer advice regarding medication management. Additionally, as a senior team member, the pharmacist will provide training and mentorship to junior staff while contributing to a multidisciplinary team approach within the specialty.
