The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a full-time Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist in Gynaecology Oncology to join their Cancer Services Team at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with complex gynaecological conditions, managing their own caseload with support from a multi-disciplinary team. Key responsibilities include communicating effectively with patients and families, ensuring a seamless pathway of care from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up, and acting as a patient advocate. The role also involves developing nurse-led clinics, participating in educational activities, and engaging in quality improvement and research initiatives to enhance nursing services.

Candidates should have extensive experience in gynaecology or oncology and strong communication skills to support patients throughout their cancer journey. This permanent position requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week, with some potential for late evening or weekend work. The role demands collaboration across various departments and active participation in the broader London Cancer Network, alongside responsibilities for clinical management, education, research, and service development.
