Band 6: £35,392 to £42,618 a year  PERMANENT 
The Assist solution is part of the wider DQ toolset and both functions will co-ordinate activities and share work as appropriate.

The role is based in Bradford District and Craven (BD&C) and is key to the success of our Planned Care (PLDC) and Data Quality (DQ) provision. Working with the GPIT Clinical Lead and colleagues in Place you will support the development, deployment, maintenance and support of the Assist (Care Pathways and Referral Management) initiative within BD&C. You will work collaboratively within the DQ Teams locally and wider across the ICB.

You will:

Have comprehensive knowledge and experience of working with and using SystmOne including General Practice, Community and other care settings.

Have an eye for detail as part of the development, implementation, maintenance and compliance of Care Pathway Protocols within the Assist Team.

Work collaboratively with teams supporting SystmOne Optimisation including Planned Care / Access, Data Quality, Development and Standards Unit, Primary Care, the Digital Reference Group and the wider Digital team.

Promote best practice and deploy management controls to ensure that Assist is well governed.

Use a high level of communication and interpersonal skills to present and receive complex and sensitive information to a wide range of stakeholders.

Interviews are planned to be held in person at Scorex House, Bradford on 7th August 2024 with a start date asap after the 9th September 2024.

Responsible for the management and maintenance of the Assist solution including development process maps, defining project / change delivery tasks and timelines, pathway specification documents, practice communications and delivery of training / consultancy.

Support the exploitation and optimisation of clinical systems in response to system developments, national initiatives and changes to working practices.

Provide Assist and digital expertise to projects and work streams assessing potential benefits and impacts.

Contribute to Business Change activities identifying any new potential for innovation.

Communicate complex clinical and digital information to GP practices, ICS staff and other providers within Place and the ICB.

Maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including ICS Senior Managers / Commissioners, Speciality Leads, outsourced IT Service Provider, General Practices, GP Federations, Accountable Care organisations, Local Providers, Local Authority, West Yorkshire & Harrogate ICB, NHS England (Regional and National) and NHS Digital.

Support digital initiatives working closely with organisations to ensure data protection and governance is addressed in the development and implementation of Assist and SystmOne Optimisation.

Support Digital innovation and research across the place and in conjunction with strategic partners.

Enhanced Standard keyboard skills are required with an ability to manipulate complex systems quickly and effectively including the extract of complex data for analysis.

Propose and implement changes to policies and / or working practices that affect both clinical and non-clinical areas, e.g. introduction of new tools, reports or processes that require changes in procedure.

You will be able to drive and have access to own transport to enable you to visit sites and offices across the ICB.
