Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Operational Trainer to play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of care across its extensive network of care homes and independent hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering induction and ongoing development training to staff in approximately five locations within a designated region. As the first point of contact for new employees, the Operational Trainer should embody Barchester’s values and be passionate about fostering a person-centred approach to care. This home-based position will require travel and offers the opportunity to support staff from their initial training through to their advancement within the organisation.

Candidates for this role should possess a relevant qualification in Health & Social Care, have a solid understanding of care sector regulations, and at least two years of training experience. Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating training sessions, maintaining training records, observing workplace practices, and collaborating with Home Managers to ensure effective personal development plans are in place.
