The Fetal Medicine Specialist Midwife at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust in Peterborough/Huntingdon is responsible for coordinating care and support for women and their families during the screening, diagnosis, and management of fetal anomalies and high-risk pregnancies. This role involves effective communication and information-sharing among healthcare professionals, ensuring women receive relevant and understandable information. Additionally, the midwife will establish systems for monitoring interventions, present findings at maternity forums, and maintain relationships with various specialists to facilitate smooth referrals and transfers between services.
