Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a Band 5 Registered Nurse for the Special School Nursing team, based in Worcester. The role involves working 26 hours per week during term time plus two additional weeks during school holidays, providing care for children and young people with complex health needs across seven special schools in Worcestershire. The successful candidate will need recent clinical experience, preferably in a community setting, and will be required to work independently, demonstrating strong communication, planning, and assessment skills.

The position emphasises the importance of flexibility, innovation, and the ability to assess and deliver care effectively within a busy environment. The nurse will be responsible for planning care, conducting teaching sessions, and supporting staff competencies for health interventions. Additionally, proficiency in IT, including electronic patient records and Excel, is needed.
