Job Summary for Non-Medical Prescriber at Change Grow Live, Coventry:
The Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) will play a key role in a multi-disciplinary team focused on recovery-oriented alcohol and drug intervention services. The primary responsibilities include:
  • Conducting assessments, initiating and modifying prescriptions for opiate and alcohol substitutes, and managing medication for service users.
  • Leading the development of the prescribing clinic and serving as a contact point for colleagues and partner agencies regarding prescribing issues.
  • Collaborating with a supportive team to address the diverse needs of individuals with complex backgrounds, including substance misuse, mental health, homelessness, and criminal justice issues.
